I'm pulling for Germany. Within driving distance to all of 'good Europe', and I think they still might like Americans there. My second vote would be Eastern Europe -Czec Republic? Where are the really good-looking ladies who LOVE Americans?

Tough choice between Germany (lived there 3 years and loved it) and England (in-laws live there, so we visit regularly)

Meanwhile, not to pick nits, but lumping the UAE with Saudi is sort of like lumping Singapore with mainland China-worse actually, as the UAE is a completely separate, and very different, country from Saudi (shudder.) Back when this poll was opened I could have voted UAE, but since then everybody has moved here and it's permanent gridlock on the roads and inflation is outrageous. Killed by its own popularity.

I don't live in the US currently.

Would like to, though - probably some place sunny like Cali. Main attraction for me is the great deal on cars you guys enjoy. :D Cars here (Singapore) are like 3X more expensive, at least.

Australia too, love that place. South Australia (Adelaide) in particular. Taxation is on the high side, but the people and the scenery are to die for.

Not to pick nits on your nitpick, but how is that "worse"? Singapore is a completely separate and very different country from China, and does not even have the attribute of "stone's throw" geographical proximity (unlike Saudi and UAE).

French Polynesia/ Tahiti for me. I went there on vacation a few years ago and have wanted to go back since.
My second choice would be Italy, because of the cars.

I voted for Spain, as I have thought about studying abroad or just moving there one day.

I'm surprised no one said Fiji, I hear it's really beautiful.

Never been there. After reading "On Green Dolphin Street," and seeing the old film of the same name, I could do exactly that.

Nuf said. For me its a tie between Finland, England, and Monaco. I'd declare Monaco as my official residence, rescind my US citizenship, and have ZERO taxes to pay :D.

Better not to have to move, but if I had to leave here, probably there'd be people looking for me, and I'd have to go to Israel.
