40 Ferrari's were driving from Hong Kong to Shanghai for the F1 race. Several cars were speeding recklessly. A F355 lost control and rear ended a bus, driver and wife killed on site.

That is a nasty, nasty crash...

Are there even roads in China capable of safely driving fast? I'd imagine that there are some highways connecting main cities, but I'd expect the roads to not be built to handle vehicles traveling that quickly.

Artical indicates crash happened on highway connecting Hang Zhou and Shanghai, which means they are very close to Shanghai. Being on highway there(not driving myself) I'd say highway is ok to handle high speed, but definitely not with all the other slow(I really MEANT slow) cars around you.

With the hood decals/sponsorships, that car looks like it may have seen some track time too

I guess the old-school "1 warning" holds true.

This is such a sad story. I cannot stop thinking about it.

That is sad to see. I am currently at CC and there is a 360 Spider that looks to be in worse shape.

Always careful-- but this is the second time he got into a major accident, and as Rob said, to flip a sports car you really really have to **** up. I'm incredibly sorry for the accident, I'd never wish it on anyone, but he was probably being incredibly irresponsible- and obviously isn't a great driver...

I saw that 360. I have a couple pictures. It's not as bad as the pic above, but it still isn't pretty

It's very easy to flip a car if youlose the car off the side of a roadway, say, as you go through a turn and drop the back wheel off the pavement into, say, sand.

Not that I've seen that happen to an M Roadster at Lime Rock.
