    just got my registration tag in the mail and cant believe that I had my 400i for 3 years! wow how time fly's. just wanted to say that I love this car and had nothing but great times with her. I came across some paperwork that I thought was amazing. Cant believe that back in 1984 to convert our cars over you paid 6k.! man that's a lot of cabbage.

    Congratulations on your 3rd anniversary of Ferrari 400i ownership! May you have many more happy miles and smiles with it!

    As far as $6K to do the federal conversion back in the 80's, my impression, with no real data to back this up, is that this was on the low end of the costs, which I have heard could be up to $15K to federalize these cars.
