I had the pleasure of meeting Dave, ( Netviper) and his wife, and thier beautiful Acura NSX. Charles ( AtlantaMan) not only brought his stunning 308GTS over, he allowed me to drive it and show and explain his eye popping upgrades. folks his brake and steering upgrades are incredible!! i had a great time and look forward to hanging out with my fchat friends as our schedules allow. i would love to meet any other owner / members in the area, though it will be awhile before i can drive my 308 any great distance. here are some pics of us and our cars, minus me!

(Mr. Reaper) What is keeping everyones favorite brown 308 off the road these days? I know you had some body work to do when you first got it but it seems to be back together. (nice pics) I must say that your thread on the cars arrival was very inspirational. It gives me hope that someday soon I will have a 328 in my garage. Its great fun to see you enjoying your car. Thanks!

i am really picky about my cars, there are some vaccum leaks around the intake manifold gaskets that will not allow me to properly tune the 4 weber carbs until they are fixed, the car runs much better now but i want to go ahead and replace the gaskets asap, next i am doing the timing belts and tensioners.
thanks for asking, and for the kind words, there are some things about working on Ferraris that are different, but an engine is an engine so most things can be diagnosed and fixed once you have the " basics" down. ie i eliminated and pluged all vaccum points and identified the intake leaks with the car stone cold and running . it will only take a few days in my spare time to get it on the road again!!! michael

If it was recently I think it was Ron Finger's Turbo Tom six. He has a white 71 that looks a lot like mine. My bodywork is much sweeter w/ my personal touch. Moulded duck tail, filled rear bumper, fiberglass front & FERRARI vents behind the front wheel wells. I think we pretty much tie in a race.
Andy has had my Z (V8) but its been a while. Micky Carter (Carter Racing) who built the car, has tuned it most recently.
    Glad you noticed.

Ask Andy about my car. I think my interior is quite finished w/ a SCCA roll bar, Recaro driver's seat, 5 pt Simpson belts & a Momo wheel. What are you bringing to him for service? BTW: he is the best.

Andy is on vacation, i want to bring in the 308 to get his opinion on the trans issues the car has. going to have him drop the pan and check all the linkage and shift plates. otherwise i am getting a new trans from Trutlands. or similar.
