Ah Wax If you want rejection the book idea is the way to go... In order to "score" a book deal you have to have something in print. Can you hear the "Well I work for _______ but I have this thing about cars and want you, mr publisher to risk thousands of dollars publishing, distrubuting and marketing a book about cars.... hello?" Granted rejection comes and goes. I figured out one time that 90% of my time was "Selling" my self and 10% was actually doing the work. Less time selling and more doing would be more profitable but then I wouldn't have the stuff sold... It is a paradox. DES I will get back to you soon about the other side. I know you have a pretty easy going nature and all but that is one thing you have to get a handle on is that you have to sell yourself over and over and over in order to get the jobs that will establish yourself in the market. It is the hardest part.
Hey, Pete, you're right, i probably shouldn't have posted that one... i don't like to make fun of people and don't get any joy out of laughing at someone else's expense/misfortune... i received all the pictures in an email and just decided to post them all; i probably should've taken a few out, or at least that one... The devil's advocate in me says that it probably won't make a difference whether it's posted here or not, since it's already circling around the world via the net, anyway; and besiDES, you can't see her face... ...but that's just the devil's advocate in me.
