Re-reading webpages of Jack Handey quotes, I thought we should share the most funny books we have enjoyed. A few of my favorites: The Far Side - any collection - Gary Larson Letters from a Nut - Ted Nancy, (he writes wacky letters to real companies, and always posts their official response to his inquiry) http://www.amazon.com/Letters-Nut-Ted-L-Nancy/dp/0380973545 More Letters from a Nut Eat the Rich - PJ O'Rourke Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey - http://philip.greenspun.com/humor/deep-thoughts , http://www.coolquotes.com/quotes/jack_handey.html
Ever read Patrick F. McManus? Many chapters of his many books will leave you in tears... of laughter.
Red Dwarf (Infinity welcomes careful drivers & Better Than Life) by Grant Naylor Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy (The full trillogy) by Douglas Adams
Total ripoff of "Idiot Letters" by Paul Rosa. Looks like this guy went and stole the idea. http://www.amazon.com/Idiot-Letters-Paul-Rosa/dp/038547508X/ref=pd_sim_b_3
"Lamb - the Gospel according to Biff - Christ's childhood pal" - by Christopher Moore.... one of the few books I wish never ended. Also enjoy books by Carl Hiaasen and Tim Dorsey.
I hadn't heard of the Idiot Letter book, I'll have to check that out. Looks like it's published 2 years before "Nut."
