So, this was funny and fun. I was at the liquor store buying some Guinness the other day, and the guy behind me says, looking at my Puma driving shoes, "You must be the guy in the Ferrari." I answered yes, and he told me his apprentice - he was an electrician - was afraid to park too close to my car, which gave me a chuckle. So he said, I'd like you to give him a hard time for parking too close. That sounded like fun, so I put my best game face on, motioned for the guy to roll his window down, and said with my most serious tone, "Your boss told me to give you a hard time for parking too close to my car." We both had a good laugh, and his boss videoed the whole thing. I chuckled every time I thought about it for the rest of the day.

had a kid come up to me and ask me if the ferrari was awesome to drive. i told him that my racecar was better and that the ferrari was ok. this broke his heart.

then i drove him in the ferrari and he was happy again. :)

Just read through all of this! Not a Fcar owner yet...but...

At a gas station in a new GTR:
    Lady 1: That's a nice looking car!
    Me: Thank you!
Lady 1: What is that? (I'm about to respond and...)
    Lady 2: That's an Eclipse
I walked out a little broken...and sold the car a couple months later

Brought my R8 home for the first time only 8 months ago, my youngest (5 yo) said "OH MY GOSH, IS THAT A FERRARI!?!" I told her "No, it's an Audi R8". She just replies "Can we get a Ferrari?". LOL. Not sure where that actually came from (maybe always picking Ferrari's on Forza?)...but the hunt is still on for a good first Fcar.

Nothing as a deflating as that I reckon....... is it a ferrari, no, it’s an Audi R8 (proudly beaming) , can we get a ferrari? Kids, you gotta love em, they can destroy your good mood in one innocent sentence!

My white 612 Scaglietti was parked among 28 other Ferraris at the Kiawah car show-- mostly V8s and a few 599s and a brand new 812.
Standing nearby as the crowds walked past my car I heard a loud comment "hey look, janie, Ferrari makes a grocery getter!"

The 612OTO is enjoyable and useful in a lot of ways including getting groceries. And driving twisty roads.
Not as bad as the 10yo saying about my Porsche Cayenne "I didn't know Porsche made a minivan!"

The 612OTO is a very understated Ferrsri, and the general public don’t see enough to get used to its size and shape, once you have, you appreciate the actual beauty of the car (I had one, a 2006, not OTO, and still miss it’s absolute rock solid performance and outrageous agility for such a big beast)

My Mondi Cabriolet gets a lot of looks. In fact, in proportion to its price, I'd bet a Mondi Cab gets more looks than any other car.

Twice, I've had adolescent men ask me if I was looking to hire, or if I would mind giving them life advice. My advice.

I'm a professional at cooking bacon. Have it three or four times a week, usually. I wear a pair of clear safety glasses when I cook it. They get spattered pretty good after a few weeks.

I was driving down the street in my new 488 spider and a group of kids and adults was standing outside near the street so I kept it slow going by and one of the kids shouts Lambo!

Marketing has nothing to do with people not being able to discern between a Lambo and Ferrari

I bake bacon on parchment paper in a Pyrex dish in the oven. No splatter glasses and not as greasy.

I use an iron skillet and let a few days grease accumulate. The bacon is mostly submerged and cooks very evenly. Lots of pops though!
