You know, this got me to thinking. If Ferrari was so hot about shutting down the Daytona (think Miami Vice) and 250GT (the "Modena GT" was one) replicas, how come there are so many bad copies of their other cars out there? You would think that to be consistent, they'd shut down all the Ferrari model copies - 246 and 308 models come to mind. For that matter, why don't they come down on ppl who make "tribute" Ferraris of more expensive and rarer models? Hey, a fake is a fake, isn't it, whether or not it's made with Ferrari parts. Got a 308 modded to look like a 288 GTO? Cheater! Have a TR replica rendered from a 250GTE? Scammer! The selectivity of Ferrari's enforcement of trademark infringement is pretty inconsistent, IMO.
