I decided to replace the CIS with EFI, and tried a couple different plumbing schemes to no avail, then I went back to the drawing board, and sketched something that actually worked.

The Ford EFI Injectors were turned down on the lathe to fit in the existing K-jet holes, and the fuel plumbing is all hand fitted and soldered (propane wrangling by me). My fingertips are toasted, but I like the way it came out. The first two attempts were no good....too many leaks.

Throttle position sensor and manifold air pressure sensor and well along, the main thing left to do now is machine the housing and fittings for the Idle air controller (it will go in the spot where the cold start injector was)...stay tuned for more pictures as it matures.

    nice work.

one remark: i was told never to use copper tubing for fuel due to fatigue related cracking.

I am very interessed in your thread, coz I wonder if perfs or handling or response of the engine would be improved with that. I am wondering about installing the nicksforza EFI. What did motivate your decision and what do you expect from this mod ?
    cheers
