As part of detailing my "new" 87 328 I inspected the fuses to confirm all were correct. Not all were, but luckily there were no higher rated fuses installed, just a few 7.5's where a 10 should be, and a 15 where at 20 should be. That was a relief.

Although some interior lights were not working, there were NO blown fuses. I removed all the fuses, then sprayed compressed air into the fuse holders followed by a non-residue contact cleaner. After replacing the SAME FUSES a whole bunch of lights which I hadn't even noticed were off, came on - like under door handle lights, red marker lights on inside door panel, etc. I also noticed the panel and center console lights were much brighter too.

    Just FYI.
