Tried 4 different fuses in the fuse box located under the steering wheel in my 488 but none of them are powering my Uniden R8 utilizing a fuse tap. Powers fine when hooked directly to the battery but I don't trust the battery saver setting in the R8. Anyone successfully used a fuse tap? If yes, which exact fuse position worked for you? Tried searching and all the ones people used do not work for me. Thank you.

This works for a 458. Hopefully helpful for your 488.

The fuse location used in this video worked great for me. It's actually one I tried before, but my problem was that I was using a 15A fuse for my radar and it needed at least 20A. As soon as I got this swapped out, powered up perfectly fine. Appreciate the help!

Try fuse F47 (20A, passenger compartment fuse box) it’s ignition-switched and works for many radar detectors in the 488. If that fails, check F3 (10A) or F54 (15A). Use a multimeter to confirm 12V with ignition on. Some Ferrari fuse boxes are finicky ensure the tap is fully seated and making contact. If still no luck, hardwiring to the mirror (if equipped) is another clean option.
