    I just received an incredible email with no Subject or From. I don't know what to think, so I'll just post it as is...


    Dear Bill S,

    I’ve read your posts on www.ferrarichat.com in the Super Ferraris forum and thought you might want to share the attached photo with the online Ferrari community.

    I have been working on a “teleportation” project for almost 18 years. Because the teleportation is instant, we have been able to acquire some objects from the future, including the one shown in the attached.

    Please know that it is completely harmless to share the attached photo. We know that will occur, and that the actual event will be different as a result.

    Teleportation? WTF. The page looks like a page from Road and Track or Motortrend. A page like this could be designed in Photoshop so this being proof of "Teleportation" is ridiculous. I would almost e-mail this guy back for the entertainment of it all. This could get really entertaining...I wonder what else he has from the future. If it were me, I would have the winning Powerball numbers in my possession, not some paperwork of the 2012 Ferrari. Keep us updated on this, email him back I need a good laugh!!

    I wish! The From address was blank and my email provider can't trace it. I thought it was an April fools joke as well, but the sender may have calculated for that. If you look at the sheet, there's some scary realistic stuff in there. It almost looks like the existing Enzo engine was re-engineered to rev to 9K. There also seems to be a compression ratio increase to 12.3. The speed in each gear also seems about right.

    If it's a Photoshop, it's the best I've ever seen.

    I agree that it would appear to be an authentic document that could actually exist. Who is to say that it wasn't a pre-production proposal that was submitted by a design studio or the engineering department for consideration by upper management? Any professional proposal would easily look like this and contain some very realistic estimates based on expectations for the next Ferrari supercar.
