    Can anyone recommend a FW area shooting range where I can take my daughter (17 year-old) and let her learn to shoot safely (rifle and pistol, probably)? The only one I'm familiar with is the old Alpine Shooting Range in SE FTW. Which others would you recommend? I'm in far SW FTW.

    Remington Galleries on the SW corner of E. Loop 820 and Hwy 80/Lancaster, has an associated range on the site. Indoor, nice guys, and CCW classes also. They also have a few available for rental, so you and your daughter can try out different guns.
    For trap, there's the Ft. Worth Shoooting Club (or something like that) just outside of W Loop 280, right after I-20 peels off towards Weatherford.
    Good to see someone still teaching their kids about them, rather than the "If they don't know, they'll be even safer" idiocy. Thanks.
