Do you have the High res file? If you do and it is yours can you send it to me. If it prints out nice at full size and is a good size I will send you one. Jim [email protected]
THAT one could be fun to do as a painting Do you have it in high res.? And can I use it to look at?? Don't worry I cannot make a totally natural looking painting
Thank you all for your interest in this photo. I do not give out hi res versions of my photos. I am an artist and use these images as reference for my work. Some will be paintings and others, like the photo posted will be posters, eventually for sale.
You must be kidding, right? Or do we have such a high opinion of ourself as not to share a f***ing photograph with our Chat friends? If you won't share, don't post. Keep it all to your self and sell for money. Wrong attitude - go to another chat site.
Everyone wants something for nothing. Why don't you do what I did, drive 3hrs to Palm Beach, $50 for an entry, 6 hours of photography and then drive back, process the raw files and print. So far, two days for processing and printing. Why would someone want a hi res version anyway?, could it be to make a nice print? Go ask one of the artists showing at Cavallino that you would like one of their paintings, see what they say.
Just to lighten the thread... Beautiful photo. Thanks for posting it. I checked your home page. Nice work. Are you going to Cars for Cure tomorrow (2/4)? Simon
hmmm a little more than 3hrs and $50 from Denmark to Palm Beach But fair enough... everyone decides for themselves what they wanna share
Manuma took nearly the same shot of his father's FXX, and I was going to say we should put the 2 next to each other, that would be a kickass print, worth maybe buying, but obviously there's no room for collaboration with intellectual property... Btw, I think manuma's pic is higher res, even though it was taken with a point and shoot oh and I have a spot of advice for ya David: depth of field preview
Everyone here gives for nothing . Its the spirit of the chat , of most car related forums. We all go to car events ,spend money on gas , hotels , entry fee, we take pics and then we share them. Posting your pics like thise is more like self promotion ... so what are you going to give to rob for your free promotion ?
I agree with everyone else. While it is a gorgeous picture (many props man), it is a bit rude (for lack of a better word) to tease us with a picture as great as this and then be all uptight and selfish about it. I think I speak for everyone else, but I respect your wishes to keep it private, but as I think I again speak for everyone else, I have come to learn that FerrariChat.com is not part of "the internet," where everything is risky and nobody is trustworthy. Sure, there are some creeps and scammers on this forum, but I'd say that the better 95% of the people on this forum are completely genuine and trustworthy. Nobody is or is going to try to rip you off of your picture and maybe its sale, they just want a larger version of that picture so that they can set it as their background (larger picture= better quality for computer background). In the same way, nobody is trying to diminish the value, both monetary and personal, of your efforts to go to Cavallino. Back to the background thing, you should take those requests as compliments and be happy to share your great work with the community. I know I like it when people ask me if they can use my pictures as their background. With that said, here is my photo site, every picture is in a medium-ish resolution as well as a high resolution. Like it says on the top of the first page, please don't rip off my pictures; use them for your own use and if you want to use any of the pictures for something of yours, just email/PM me and I'll be more than happy to let you use it. http://www.exoticcarsite.com/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=Garrett-Browns-Album
I'll explain my reluctance to post high res images so maybe you will understand I don't like to give out high res versions. I have had images of mine used for art projects and other things without being asked. Now, I don't mind if someone wants to use one of my photos for reference for a painting, but I do expect to be asked. Because of these episodes, I have become a little gun shy about giving out high res versions of my photos.
