    Hey guys, I usually don't like showing my artwork online but this is my first new drawing in 6 months and I think it came out alright. Took me 12 hours today off an on because of ADD kicking in haha. 8" by 14" and designing a background for it now.

    I have a 40th Anniversary Murcielago in the works right now, doors up and everything. Hopefully I'll post the finished picture up tomorrow sometime

    VERY nice work... nice contrast and great shading technique... you've nailed the "shinyness" of the left side and front fender very well...

    Thanks, Im only 17 and been drawing cars in color for the passed year. This is maybe the 4th-5th full car I've done and they are definatly getting better with everyone I draw. My style is different from most of the cars I've seen people draw. In person, it looks more like a painting because i layer the colors several times to get the right shade.

    I couldn't help comparing it to the FXX-drawing I posted some months ago ;)

    I like your style. The overall shape on the car is, in terms of details, not quite spot on (but I think the Enzo shape is a b.itch to draw accurately), but your coloring is excellent. Keep it up! Lots and lots of potential.

    Its obvious yhouve made a great drawin here but i did notice a flaw. you perspective is a bit off towards the rear of the car. other than that, flawless!

    Yea I know, Its hard to tell sometimes when your actually drawing it. Only when you step back and look at it you can tell where you messed up. The 40th is done, camera needs batteries.

    a neat trick that works for me, is at the drawing-stage, hold it up to a mirror. The reversed image tricks your brain into seeing a whole new picture and you notice things - details and perspective issues - that you might miss otherwise.

    as i said, great work... looking forward to seeing your Murc.

    Nice pics! The MC12 looks really well done, what brand of pencils do you use, it would be cool to get back into drawing again.

    I also had that same problem with the distortion, I think maybe after the outline has been done lightly, leave it for a day and come back to it.

    ^--- hahaha No but it put a couple dollars in my starving pockets so It was a must. I use prismacolor pencils, so any money helps me. I usually just get rushed on my drawings. I see the outline done and I just like to color so I get rushed and start coloring without taking my time. If I spend a good amount of time on a drawing instead of 6-7 hours they usually come out better detailed and more spot on. All of the drawings are about 11" by 14".

    I added a little logo to the FXX to put the finishing touches on it. On a full length drawing I would do a complete background/foreground but this was just a practice one. Any ideas for backgrounds? I have trouble when it comes to "displaying" a car nicely in a picture.

    Sorry it's blurry, you the idea though right.

    New drawing. Mercedes CLS. Just used the basic shape and added my own bumpers, fenders, wheels, etc. 11" by 16" Not done yet, you get the idea though.

    I think you are doing fantastic work...coming from one artist to another. Dont even begin to listen to the negative people here commenting on the proportion, what do they know...I dont see their pictures....everyones a critic. What you are doing is difficult...and I think they are turning out great...and you are young....what an accomplishment..these are better than ones I've seen in some magazines. Thank you for sharing these...hope there are more to come.
