Just saw a brief clip on the FXX on CNBC. Straight from the horse's mouth... "Although this is just a concept, Ferrari has released some numbers. 850 hp, and a top speed of 300 MPH." I just recited that off the top of my head, can't remember EXACTLY how it was, but they did say 300 MPH...
Same for the way they often report on the economy, misinformation or they try to talk it down...sometimes they misrepresent, or just don't do their homework.
Other than Top Gear and Fifth Gear, people on TV have no idea of what they are talking about on the subject of cars.
It's not just TV, it's even in real life too. Like the other day, this girl that I was with called a Shelby Cobra an old Corvette.
I know they just say things to amaze people but they don´t know that there peolpe who know it .300 mph OMG
I thought it was good report about the FXX. They interviewed Tennesse car dealer Phil Bachman about his yellow FXX and he gave the host Dylan Ratigan a ride in his FXX. They also said Ferrari is coming out with the 599 at the end of the year. On The Money....on CNBC. I see that show every night monday to friday. I also like the question they ask near the beginning of the show " Its 7 pm on Wall Street do you now where your money is?"
