just came home guys, AMAZING! I did spot arshad in his NSX but gave him a funny look and than he blew away with his F430 friend. Porsche Carrera GT made a show and so did 2 360CS! The P640 Porsche also made it as well as F430's, 612, 575m, 360's and a Lotus! Clips will be uploaded soon of some cars finishing the night! All in all it was amazing!

For anyone intrested I made it there with Blue jeans and a beige dress shirt and a red coat!

EDIT : Some pics to show what it looked like, sorry for the ****ty pics :p

Did you get by the gate? They were pretty strict on who they let in, some guys had a hard time getting in even though they had invitations in their hand. A lot of people were turned away or left standing on the sidewalk. The only reason why I ask is because your pictures only show what can be seen from standing on the sidewalk. Nice pictures by the way. That's quite a wide angle lens you have.

That guy was a lunatic. He revved the **** out of his GS before gunning it. He's lucky the RX8 that was chasing him didn't ram him up the rear bumper after almost losing control.

And yes, the Murcielago and Carrera GT were freakin' amazing.

I started chatting with the attendance person at the front gate and managed to get permission to check out the back lot; nice close up look at the Carrera GT and a chat about it with some Ferrari mechanics.

Edit: Did anyone else spot Tie Domi in his black 612?

Wow, what a fun day! We got there around 5pm to pick up Tom's F430 spider, and as we walked into the dealership I saw they were prepping the FXX! So I ran back to my car to grab my camera but by the time I got back they were just finishing putting the car cover on! Arrgghh! I could have gotten some awesome shots without any crowds or barriers, but I missed it by a minute!

After Tom got his car we had two hours to kill before the event so we put down the top, put up the heat and drove around for 2 hours trying to get to 1000km's so he could take it past 4000rpm's! :) The car is just absolutely incredible! Even short shifting at 4k, it was an exhilirating experience! Who needs a tubi? It sounds intoxicating even stock, and with the top down it just adds to the overall effect. Just as it hit around 4500 rpm's you could hear the engine start to kick into "mean mode", but Tom didn't want to take it past that until it was broken in. I can't wait to go for another spin once it's ready to be revved to 8k .. it's going to be unbelievable!

It was kind of funny when we got back because they had heavy security and they were checking everyone off a list. So we get in and they are getting all the non-ferrari's to go into the back lot. Of course I had left my car parked there since 5pm and had taken off so here was my lame car surrounded by all these ferrari's -- ooops! Lucky they didn't tow me away! Beside me was an awesome yellow murcielago. Lucas was saying that they were telling him to go in the back lot too and he got pissed off at them hehe. I saw a rolls royce go in the back... heck, they even had a Carerra GT in the back! In fact, the GT was parked beside a garbage dumpster -- how sad! :)

After the event, we decided to race on steeles -- and I soundly kicked the 430's ass! *cough* Of course Tom was short-shifting at 4000 *cough* I look forward to having my ass handed to me once the car is broken in -- can't wait! :D

Below are a bunch of pics from before the event (FXX being prepped, Michael Loulli's car being prepped), of Tom's F430, and of the FXX. Sorry about the Murcielago and GT pics -- my flash sucks!

Well that was an interesting night! I got there with my invitation and they said that "I was not on the list" even though I personally called them and RSVP'd a couple days ago. Thanks again Stax for getting me in! FoO has absoluley ZERO class. They made a salesman from Lamborghini Toronto leave because there was a "conflict of intrest", lets get real here!

The night was not a total loss though, the Carrera GT was a nice surprise, and the Yellow murcielago was UNREAL! That thing is a beast, there is no way you could compare that car to any other in the lot. The sound when it left was just amazing! The FXX didn't really do it for me, I was expecting alot more than what I saw. I did get over 300 pictures so you guys can see and judge for yourself. They will be up in the next few days.

p.s. sorry Jamie, there was no 430 Spider in the showroom.

Pretty good turnout! Domi was a quiet fella, he just came and went in a flash in that cool 612. Who was driving that thing?

And YES the CGT and Murcielago were insane. The driver of the CGT spun the tires through 2nd and 3rd gears. It was nuts.

Edit: I'm surprised you had trouble, Lucas. I didn't have any problems, they didn't even ask me twice. I guess I just got lucky.

PS. Steve, you're name seems to carry a lot of power around there! lmao!

It always amuses me how when you buy a car for just shy of $300,000, they give you a gift bag with a hat, couple shirts and sweaters....A nice gesture to be sure, but when you factor it as a percentage...ouch!

Hehe, yeah it's pretty funny. Actually his cost out the door was a bit shy of $400k. Yikes! One thing they've started doing now is they give you a little photo book which has pictures of the car from the start to finish on the assembly line. Nice touch!

Anyhow, it was good to see you again Steve! Too bad you couldn't stick around for the event afterwards. By the way, I'm going to be planning a spring-fling for the NSX guys, and if the Ferrari guys want to join in again, we can do a joint event. I think we all had a blast last time out, and I'm thinking of something with more "fun" driving. In fact, I have a specific route picked out with lots of corners and elevation changes, but it's almost 2 hours outside of Toronto. Not sure if people want to put that much mileage on their cars. I'll post up a separate thread about this to gauge interest here and see if people don't mind driving out a bit to get a nice, open, driving experience.

You left pretty early! Was Tom's (not referring to PEM3 here) F430 the one parked near the door? Pretty slick car!

Well, in all fairness, I wasn't including taxes...but your right..those taxes had to be payed by someone...and it wasnt Harper, thats for sure! :p

Thats does sound like a very cool momento...better than just the hats and the shirts....but then again, I only bought used! ;)

Good to see you too, it's been a while since that last NSX/F-car get together. Couldn't stay for the event, had a big poker game tonight $$$, and the FXX isn't really my thing....or in my league.... :(
I loved that pic you snapped of me leaving the dealership, LOL, ....you can tell by that big doofus smile on my face I missed my baby, and I loved the sound of the new exhaust set-up. Thats my story (err, excuse??) and Im sticking to it.. :) How did it sound on the outside?

Count me in, Im sure others would be interested as well, just post when you have some firm details and dates. If I'm in the country and the weather is good, you couldnt keep me away! That last drive was a blast!

Yeah, I had gone straight to pick up Tom from Mississauga right after work and the food at the dealership couldn't really pass for dinner so I decided to head home early.

Yes, Tom's car was the red spider near the door. I've gotta say that I haven't been a big fan of the 430's exterior styling (as compared to the 360), but it's really starting to grow on me now. Of course the performance, response, interior, etc. are just awesome.

Steve: your car sounded really bad-ass from outside!

The spring fling event I'm thinking of around mid-may. Hopefully everyone will have their cars out by then, and the weather should be decent, no salt on the roads, etc. I'll post up a proposal on here once I finalize some of the details. I think all driving enthusiasts will have a good time on this one -- the stretch I'm thinking of is one of the best in Ontario!

I doubt that very much....as far as customers go, I'm on the very low end of the scale. That being said, even though I've only bought a couple of used cars from them, they've always treated me very well. In fact, I doubt I could have been treated any better, even if I was buying an Enzo from them!! Marco (my sales guy) and Sergio (service) have always made me feel "taken care of"... Of course, I can only speak for myself, but Ive had nothing but excellent service from F.o_O. Hence, I can only say good things about them...

Im very surprised and sorry to hear about this "incident" Lucas. Glad to hear one of the F-chat faithful was able to pull through for you! Not to make excuses for F.o_O, but it was a very busy event, with (apparently) alot of younger guys around...maybe security was getting a little nervous? Lambo sales guy asked to leave?...does sound a bit extreme, but they defintely are the competition!

If only they knew about your super-natural skills with the camera, I'm sure you would have received a personal invitation, AND a seat in the front row!
Your photographic skills could only help them promote their events. It might be worth sending someone there a link to your work...your portfolios usually speak for themselves....something to consider....

As usual, I can't wait to see your pics!
