Euro sensors are not compatible with US computers. Anyone need 4 Euro Sensors??
They all operate on a different (country specific?) frequency. IIRK, the color of the sensor determines the frequency. http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?products_id=209245 http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?products_id=284256
After Bahrain we mounted the spare set of wheels and new tires which had sensors that PF bought in Turin. The US ones were on the first set of wheels. We couldn't get the sensors recognised by the computer even though it seemed to accept the programing of the sensor #'s. We removed the Euro sensors and mounted the US sensors and all is good. We also checked out the entire car on the computer and everything is perfect. No overheating of anything ever and the clutch is as new. On the other P's all you need is a tire gauge... But the P4s don't tell you that you've run over a wayward drywall screw!!! I'm sure Sal felt like my superintendent, who recently spent 4 hours trying to program new radios, before realizing VHF wasn't EVER going to hear UHF..... "Thanks" to Purchasing Dept. and Motorola! LOL! He's rather high strung, and wanted those 4 hours of his life BACK!
