Geez, I would hope so. The entire car was designed and engineered to target a market niche in which one car reigned supreme. The Ferrari 360.

They made it a little bit faster and a little bit cheaper and well, the styling is hit or miss with me.

BUT, they are cranking them out, putting them on the street, in the hands of happy owners, without a lot of BS.

So what's the verdict? That's why they race horses!

It's not about the cars, it's about personalities. I know I for one got rather tired of EVERY thread they were on going right into the gutter. Geez guys, give it a rest!

The problem is not discussing the cars. Some people may feel the Lambo is better, and an equal number may feed the Ferrari is better. And we can talk about it all day long. The problem is when people can't accept others' opinions because they HAVE to be right and its IMPOSSIBLE to believe othewise, and start with the personal isults. This is what Mako did - constantly attacking people who disagreed with his opinion of certain cars.

Rob would have banned me for a day if I had posted the "unedited" pictures from my party on Saturday. See FL section for the edited version

To the subject though, Rob is the master and he can do as he pleases. He has set rules and those apply for anybody. Before I posted those pictures I sent Rob an e-mail with a sample picture. He stated exactly how he felt and anybody has to respect that. We are a large community today and have to make sure we keep it civil. Those that bash others are not wanted and stir up trouble all the time. No need to respond but if you are a new user you get easily sucked into responding to hate posts. That keeps the post up and the culprit accomplished his mission.

Rob, all your doings are okay with me. I would not have been mad if you would have banned me for stepping out of line (of course only for a day, I can not live without F-Chat for more than 24h).

 

Wayne, maybe you should put a price and a color. I usually do not call unless I get basic info beforehand.

Rob, I almost pulled the same trigger yesterday. The only reason that I didn't was that I have had him on my ignore list up to the day I became a moderator and figured it was my job to actually monitor what he's saying... so, I wasn't entirely sure whether he'd just gone off the deep end the last few days or if it was a sustained pattern.

For those objecting to someone being banned for being a Gallardo lover, that is NOT it at all. Although I do find incessant F-car bashing annoying on a Ferrari site, that is NOT even close to Mako's worst crimes here.

Mako actively attacked people... and did so with statements that are simply and utterly not acceptable adult behavior. In the last week he's made 4 comments that would get him fired from my business... even if made in private just between him and his victim. I am not exaggerating here... not firing him for it would get me into legal jeapoardy.

Couple that with the fact that he contributes nothing of value, there is absolutely no reason to endure him any longer. I'll wager that we've already lost several *valuable* F-chat members that could not stand his attacks... I'd much rather lose someone who contributes less than nothing than lose all the Ferrari enthusiasts that he offends. (In fact, I'm going to send an invitation to return to one that I'm pretty sure left because of him.)
