    Has anyone dealt with them in the past at all?
    They are a NHTSA approved Registered Importer and bring in SMART cars, and also bring in other cars that are in the "grey" areas.
    I'm talking with them about doing some import work for me on a special car, and just want to know if anyone has any opinions on them or their work or their rates.

    My experience is the guy doesn't keep his word. If you must deal with George don't leave anything loose.

    George did an excellent California EPA conversion on my 85 Euro 308QV in late 2005, did a very clean job, within $500 of the original "estimate" (this included some additional replacments to degraded fuel sytem components) and turned it around a week sooner than promised. Good guys IMO, I would use G&K again in a heartbeat.

    Tried getting George on the phone and he was never available. After 2 weeks I gave up.

    George has a solid reputation and I've NEVER heard anything bad about him. He's been in business since the 80's, IIRC.

    I'd feel good about doing anything with this guy.

    I have done a large amount of business with G&K over the years and they are stand up guys. George is often difficult to get a hold of, but you can also speak to Sosi or Avo.

    I have watched a ridiculous amount of exotics go through there, including our own. Everything from McLaren F1s, Bugatti EB110s, CLK GTRs, etc. They will take good care of you.

    If you need any assistance, feel free to shoot me a PM. In fact, I just spoke to them last week for a friend of mine. =)
