    I have currently undertaken the winter project of re-dying and re-carpeting my 1986 328 GTS. I have begun the process of stripping the leather interior and I have ordered the dye from Leatherique (Saddle color). I now need to order the replacement carpet. My carpet has faded greatly and even in the less sun exposed areas it is hard to tell the original color. I am need of assistance in ordering the new carpet. For anyone that has ordered a tan or brown colored carpet from either GAAH or World Upholstery & Trim, can you please forward me a picture and the exact color name that you ordered to assist me in my ordering. I have reviewed the websites from both companies and even received samples, but it is hard to tell what color to order. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Both companies will send you colour samples to compare to your existing carpet. Please note that the kits are the same material as original but DO NOT have the correct heel pads. The heel pads are generic and for us originality lovers this is something to consider.

    Regarding the heel pads - My old ones on the 328 were in good shape. I mailed them to GAAH and they sewed them in the new carpet I ordered.

    MAtt at Re-originals has the carpets, with the heel pads in, and he's a great guy too.

    Did a perfect job on the seats and doors on my Dino.
