I got a sneak preview of my new tonneau cover from GAHH today and while the fit is nice, the color match is awful. What do you guys think; is the GAHH “tan” an accurate match for 348 “tan” or are my seats (they’ve been redyed) a better watch? I need to know which shade to go with. The seats look like the correct color. I’ve found it to be a tough color to match. I’ve even noticed interior trim to be a different shades from suppliers to the factory.
Thanks Mike. Is there another supplier? One from Italy perhaps? In the meantime I think I’ll have the tonneau died to match the seats unless I hear a bunch of opinions otherwise. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
It’s not bad. I would keep it as is. Did you install the snaps? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Here’s one I found on eBay. Another thought would be to contact Maranello Classic Parts, they can do a worldwide search. https://www.ebay.com/itm/133953595393
Oh thanks, but I have an OEM cover (that one won’t work on a 348 anyway). The problem is over time the lining disintegrates and makes a mess.
there is a Swedish place and and Italian place I cant remember the names that have quite good leather. Someone here will know the Italian place also has Wilton wool carpet in correct color. These few I remember for some reason. But you have to buy leather and have someone make what you need. GAHH is not great. https://www.connollyengland.com/pages/connolly-leather https://connollyusa.com/ https://hydesleather.com/
Thanks Eric. GAHH is the only place that has the US tonneau pattern that I know of. My top is GAHH and it’s great. Perfect even.
By not great I am referring to colors relative to period OEM to clarify. Same for the carpet they sell. I got samples and I got British Wilton wool, big difference in quality and color.
Yep actual raw roll of carpet not some pre fit kit. Interior shop then needs to cut and fit, as such, not my car, I have roll of carpet but life keeps getting in the way for install.
