... really sucks. I just realized that over the last 3-4 months Ive gained around 25 lbs. I used to be really hardcore about working out and eating well. Well I injured myself so I couldn't lift weights for a while but I think used it as an excuse for laziness and started to eat all sorts of crap food and quit exercising in general. I guess this is a wake up call for me to start taking care of myself again. Oh well, starting tomorrow Ill try to start getting back into my old habits and routines. Please come vent if you are having weight/diet/fat problems.

well, take it easy at the beginning stages :) i'm sure u don't wanna overstrain yourself and end up getting injured again.

    i normally lift 4 times a week. a split between chest/tri's, legs/bi's, shoulder/tri's, back/bi's.

my target was to get a really good abs shape by June. still working on it tho :)

About 10 years ago, I tore up my right knee, complete ACL and lots of meniscus (cartiledge). Had to have surgery, and got to be a lazy couch potato. Strangely enough, I dropped 30 pounds (150 lbs to 120) while being quite inactive (just physical therapy and walking my dog daily). My physical therapist couldn't believe it, and told me that just about everyone gains weight while recovering.

Don't stress it, Andy!! A couple of weeks in the gym and you'll be back in shape!!

I'm in the same boat. I've put on 30 lbs. The doctor says its b/c of the medicine he put me on but I was on the way before that started.

My friends want me to start going to the gym with them daily. I need to decide to just do it and keep with it.

I've lost 15lbs since I started working out again/diet. Plan on running a half marathon in December with a full one maybe in February if I've trained enough for it.

i lost some weight when i was in surgery about 2 months ago. now, i've gained back to normal, and i'm currently focusing more on the weights and hardly any cardio.

i will start back my swimming, uphill sprints, and football in June. need to get a good physique by August :)
