Hi, Is there anyone on F-Chat from Ohio that owns a Yellow Gallardo and Red 360...because I spotted those 2 in Indianapolis during Formula One.

Sorry for the late response, but the cars you saw were mine. I live in northern Ohio. Too bad F1 is gone!

Holy smokes man ... you collection sounds insane ... that is a sweet list of cars ...

Are you the guy who has a Gulf Ford GT? I saw it once at Marcelita's in Hudson and alway's wondered who in the Cleveland area had one ...

Man ... Hudson ... who would have thought a collection like this existed in my area ... if you ever need someone to test drive your cars ... give me a PM :)

Wow, how's that for "Ask and you shall receive".
Welcome Tim, we are trying hard to make this region's section here active with dialog and events, so stick around, it's a long time until spring but maybe you'll find something interesting. You list of cars does indeed look great!

Yes, that was my Gulf GT, I have four Ford GT's in the collection. PM me some time. Some of my buddies in the Ferrari Club, Porsche Club, and Ford GT forum get together for some last-minute runs, etc. for pizza, beer, etc. There are usually some Carrerra GT's, Ford GT's, Ferrari's etc. present. The more, the merrier!

I really don't have any good photos, I'm prettly low key about the collection, and keep most under wraps, unless of course when I drive them, which all get driven. In fact today I broke out the red 360 for a run and errands. Some guys put everything away in November, I will keep driving until the roads are covered in salt.

Not sure if I would fit in with that crowd of cars ... my "cool" car is a lowly 05 Acura TL ... cool enough for a 25 year old ... but if you guy's are ever looking for someone to be your official photographer ... PM me ... I have always loved photographing cars but I never get the chance to take pic's of exotics ... I guess in the summer when I get my Corvette I might fit in ... :)

BTW ... you and your buddies need to do some sort of Cleveland Exotic Car Show ... maybe for some charity or something .... cause man in Cleveland I rarely see car's like the ones in your collection out and about ... the only exotic I see out and about is a Purple Gallardo in Downtown where I work ... it has a unique plate "STICK" ... who ever owns that really drives their car a lot.

It's not too bad today ... no salt or snow yet ... you wouldn't happen to have a Dark Blue/Black Maserati would you? I see one pass my house all the time ... never knew who it was ...

Your profile say's you are in Marketing? What firm do you own ... cause with your collection you would have to be the owner ...

I don't have a dark blue Maser, but just ordered a red 2008 Grand Turismo slated for Spring '08 delivery. So you may see me in that sometime in the future. I do have a dark blue Ford GT and a dark blue genuine Shelby Cobra 427 SC, and a few other blue cars though. I just sold one of my companies that specialized in pricing consulting, and consider myself semi-retired, but continue to consult with several key clients, through my company, Interactive Marketing Resources, Inc. (IMR) I also sit on the board for a few companies, so I am basically able to pick and choose the assignments I want. Hopefully we can meet some day.

    Hi Tim,
Do you know Jim Dunham here in Michigan? Friend of mine, he has a lot of knowledge on Ford Gt's. He's building a Ford Gt from scratch and is restoring one of original Mk 2's currently.

Is this the same guy who was commissioned by Ford to restore an original Mk 2?

Black with gold stripes MK2! It's one of the originals that ran at Lemans and was photograph in that famous shot crossing the finish line.

Thats the one. The car he is building is 100% as accurate as the original basically... great guy to do the job. I met him at one of the Rivertech meetings some time back :)

The Mk 2 is a Real Ford GT Mk2 that he is commissioned by the museum to restore, his is a replica Ford GT-40 that he's building from scratch and it's accurate except the pedals are moved forward because he's so tall. The wood chassis armature he built as a trial build before building the car was beautiful.
He helped me with my Porsche 911 Targa and we converted it into a Coupe a while back in his shop, he was just starting to build his Ford GT then. I just couldn't stand my 911 as a Targa any longer and I talked about converting it to a coupe for awhile. Well he bought a 911 parts car and asked me if you really want a coupe now's the time where do you want the top cut ? 3 months later I have a Coupe !
