Is there anywhere in Houston area other than Lambo Houston to get an independent PPI on a Gallardo?
Just an update on Driver Source PPI. If this post breaks any forum rules please delete as necessary. I say that because I wasn't very impressed with Driver Source to be honest. Firstly when I went back to pick up the car and asked if there were any surprises on the PPI they said oh no it's fine it's a Lambo. Well they put a lot of things on the list and I basically learned from the buyer later that Driver Source took one look at me and decided I wasn't the owner and must be dropping the car off for the owner so wouldn't tell me anything Secondly when I picked up the car which they of course test drove as part of the inspection there were flys and **** all over the front, admittedly it might not of been at it's cleanest for the PPI but there sure as hell weren't ANY dead bugs on the paintwork. I asked the buyer if he would send me a copy of the PPI so I could address any issues he had, he did and I was amazed, then seriously pi55ed off at some of the items on the list. 1. An obvious rattle whilst driving on rough roads.......Coins in the ashtray 2. Drives side electric mirror did not work.....wrong! 3. Auto folding mirrors did not work.....wrong!! 4. A/C system leak.....wrong, the car had been stationary for 6 weeks and the A/C still blew strong how the F**K has that got a leak. 5. Oil leak on the engine...wrong, same 6 weeks stationary and not a single drop of oil on my garage floor. Which when I told the buyer he went back to Driver Source, they said the leak was so small it would only show up in a drip tray. Bollox!!!!!!!! 6. They won't get a recommend from me and I won't be using them again. 7. The sale went through no problems and the buyer was very happy with the deal. 8. Don't ask how much it sold for it's way too depressing to even think about ever again 9. Sad to see it go, If I wasn't moving abroad it would still be on my drive.
