I see prices from the $90s on these cars but many up in the mid and high $100s as well and a few over $200. Seems like a crap shoot. Same cars on offer week after week. Is there someplace one can go look at what cars are actually selling for? They all seem to have low miles (who drives something like this on a daily basis?!). I realize the early cars had less HP and some "special features" add to the value. I am talking about a base car here. Is it possible to get one for $75K with a clean title, good cosmetics, and no mechanical issues with less than 25K on the clock?

From what I've seen, the cheapest "good" cars seem to stay above 100k. It seems to be a dividing line between beat storied cars and well kept cars. Your huge price range makes me think you don't understand the differences in years/models etc..

I have done my research and yes I know there are different years and submodels and options. My interest is a coupe with stick shift not an E gear/paddle shift and 500 HP is enough. I don't need 4wd but all early cars and most late models have it. I don't want back up camera or transparent engine cover or nav or any of that stuff. The more basic the better.

Yeah, I realize its well above budget and it only ticks off one box on the list. But its a good deal at this price: 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder 6sp for $156,888 in Maple | autoTRADER.ca

$156k Canadian is around $119k U.S. Its an easy import. Prices in cars like real estate are negotiable, so you could get it down and at a level making a real steal. Canada with the current exchange rate, makes most cars a real steal.
