This Saturday, East Beach! This thing is crazy! American Institute of Architects ( I know you were hoping for Alcohol In Abundance, but that's there too!) joins up with various Houston area contractors to construct over 100 amazing works of art, or maybe just sand. Construction begins at noon with judging by committee and public vote at 4PM, at which time the party kicks into high gear and goes 'till it burns down. I'm an honorary member of the Rice University Facilities and Engineering Department Team, in Spot #34, if you need me. (Jus' remember...Earl Campbell's number!) Be there, or be square!! Free drinks in Spot #34 for bikini clad hotties.
Ask for Larry or Sylvester, and tell 'em some cat with a Ferrari, with handprints, told you to stop by!!!!!
Well, I was SO busted, when Valeria said: "The sunglasses cover your eyes, but when your head turns, it's a dead giveaway! LOL! Good food, good times! Ya'll drop by next year. I wonder if we won anything??? I'll have to follow up..........
I was in Galveston, but I was too busy to stop by. I heard it was pretty awesome, my girlfirend and my uncle went.
Yea, it's a BIG deal, with most of the big players from construction, engineering, and architecture represented! I noticed most of the work was being done by junior partners! I was the catcher on the Rice University baseball team. National Champions!!!
WE WON BEST COSTUMES!!!!! (I was the catcher, on the simulated Rice Baseball team!) Speedy"Take my trophies where I can get 'em"308
