Garage available at MSR

Many of you know I am building a house/garage at MSR. The place is scheduled to be completed in late September and sits directly across from the entry into Big Bend, allowing you to drive from the house to the track in a minute or so. I am renting a few spots out in the garage, and due to a change in plans with one of the tenants, an opening has come available. Here are the specifics:

- 6 car garage will be divided equally into 6 LARGE spaces
- Doors and driveway access on both sides of the house, never a need to shuffle cars around
- Workshop area with work bench will occupy one of the bays, which tenants will have access to. Workshop area will also have a leather sofa, DirecTV with TIVO (to watch racing), Internet access (wired and wireless), fridge, etc. Ceiling fan will be mounted over workshop.
- Compressed air will be plumbed to all bays
- Tenants have access to all tools (air tools, metric hand tools, etc)
- 2-post lift will occupy one of the bays, tenants will have access to that lift
- 4-post lift will occupy another bay, just in case two people need a lift at once
- Bathroom and shower facilities in the garage area
- Covered car port to wash car
- Audio wired throughout garage and outside patio areas
- Hot tub on the patio facing the track (BYOS - bring your own strippers)

A/C needs will be determined in the future. I am having the place plumbed for A/C but not installed when I close. The constuction has amazing insulation properties so I am not sure yet if it will be necessary. After my taxes are assessed we can decide if its needed.

The rate is $225/month for garage access only. Garage tenants will also have reduced rental rates for weekend or daily access to the 1925 sq ft living area above the garage (price TBD). For perspective, MSR charges $175-$200/month for a basic garage without all the amenities. There is also a waiting list that is at least a year long.

If only I had a track car. And time to drive it. And.....

 

I will be offering 'Arrive and Drive' days/weekends with my track-prepped 911 and instruction available. Now all you need is time and an alibi.
