Have any of you painted or had painted anything onto your garage floors, and would know about this? I'm doing a cavallino by hand (and a Ducati logo at my lakehouse garage) onto my epoxied floors and haven't figured out where best to source some epoxy or epoxy-grade small volume paint. Any ideas? Arts/crafts stores I don't think are the place.

I will clearcoat the design once it's done of course.

    Thanks for yer help. :)

BTW, in case anyone needs a resource, here's the source for vectors for use w.digital projector  Scroll down for F logos.

I will clearcoat the design once it's done of course.

If you are going to clearcoat (epoxy) the finished product once you're done, then you don't need to do the cavallino in epoxy. I just got done doing something similar (SF badge) on my garage floor and I used testors model paint with an airbrush then clearcoat epoxied the entire floor.

I will post pics once uploaded.

I'd be interested to hear what you used, thanks. Did most of it last night, will post pics later once the trim is done.

That's what I was going to do (Testors) but after deciding I didn't want to clear out the garage again to clearcoat the entire floor I went with Behr one-part epoxy from Home Depot - they have a color palette, any of which they can mix right there for you but the selection is limited - mostly muted and pastel-like colors but it worked for me. No vibrant red, green, or yellow you'd use in the SF shield.

Please do post pics and details of what you used/methods - will be doing an SF shield at home soon too.

    Thx :)

what I used was a product that is used on bridges and retainers wall on highways to protect them from graffiti, its called polagard ag (part a and b) its found on www.andek.com I swear its great, you'll find it in the speciality surfaces,if I spill paint, oil, or anything, you can wipe it off and tire marks aren't there, alittle priceee, but I searched for something like this for a year b4 I did the floor, after spending 2k in tiles its a investment that I wanted to last,if you need more info I'm here
