GARAGE FLOORS.. WHATS THE BEST?

i am probably crazy for my upcoming garage floor design but I saw a picture of a 365 GT 2+2 about a year+ ago on a wood planked floor that has stayed with me ever since seeing it (inventory shot posted by Black Horse Garage [not related to me in any way]). I am going to use reclaimed wood flooring. I have located a great source, and not sure of the rules of FC, so I am not posting the name or hyperlink. If I get permission from administrator, I will post. Or you can PM me.

 

This is an old pic of a "fake wood" attempt. It is "gros béton" I have no idea how it is called in english.

 

Gros béton means big concrete.

 

Not too crazy, Leeber. Ettore Bugatti, a perfectionist, used wood for parts of his factory and polished wood planks in his power plant. Wood would be great for a parking garage, but I would switch to epoxy or ceramic tile for the workshop. As in all projects, the floors should complement the architectural design.

Aside from Terrazzo, does anyone have specific names/brands of stuff they like, or maybe stuff to stay away from? Meaning epoxy/floor paint types of materials.

 

Epoxy is the only way to go. It may be slippery when wet, but easy to swipe
