Jacques Swaters' Garage Francorchamps does not exist anymore. Started in 1952 and ended in 2004 when Ferrari SpA took over the official dealerships in Europe, since then the name of the official belgian Ferrari dealership changed to Francorchamps Motors Brussels at a new location in Waterloo (near Brussels).

Jacques Swaters then started a Ferrari museum in the Garage Francorchamps building, but also the museum does not exist anymore.

Hello i look for more information about several Garage Francorchamps location
Got someone got more info or address ?

The first one in 1953 was in 25 rue de la Brasserie in Brussels (sadly demolish around 2009)

Another location was in 45 Rue Goffart in Brussels (demolish in 2012)
i have no information wen that garage was used by Jaques Swaters

in 1992 the got new building after 2004 it was museum, but i don't know its location

 

Swaters started in rue Lincoln, a small workshop in 1949.
In 1951 the moved to Avenue Lequine at Uccle.
In 1953 the moved to Rue de le Brasserie.
In 1966 the moved to Rue Goffart at Ixelles in the centre of Brussels.
In 1982 the moved to Rue Colonel Bourg.
In 1992 the moved to Lozenberg at Zaventem.

The Garage in 107B Rue Colonel Bourg is now used by Kia Motor Dealer
and the one 13 Lozenberg at Zaventem is now used by Nissan Dealer

Als iemand een manier weet om nog oude facturen van die garage te kunnen bemachtigen houd ik mij aanbevolen, mijn F430 is door hun onderhouden geweest, maar heb maar 2 vd 3 facturen van de keren dat ie daar geweest is, zou graag de 3e er ook bij hebben....

 

Heel wat boeken, documenten, facturen, contracten, enz. zijn destijds, na het heengaan van Swaters, in verschillende handen terecht gekomen. Als ik jou was zou ik eens terade gaan bij expert Marcel Massini, hier actief op Fchat.

 

Heb je ook een idee onder welke naam hij hier actief is? dan zal ik hem eens een berichtje sturen

Het beste kun je hem een PM sturen, maar houd er rekening mee dat hij heel veel van dit soort vragen krijgt..

 

Thx, wou idd met een PM doen, en dat vermoeden had ik al, heeft ook geen haast, heb geen plannen om de auto te verkopen, dus al duurt het 2 a 3 jaar om alles bij elkaar te krijgen, dikke prima, als het maar lukt (meestal wel gelukkig). Nogmaals thx!
