I can always use a good excuse to: 1) Go drive my 360 a few hundred miles 2) Go see other's Ferraris 3) Drive around in the Austin area (Texas Hill Country) and going to see some "Garage Mahals" was more than good enough excuse! I've seen some on various TV specials, seen pics on the Internet, but hadn't really seen any in person. Now I can say I have. And of course, I took my trusty video camera along... here's some shots from my footage for your enjoyment...
You could squeeze 8 cars in that garage back there; then there were two under cover to the left of the garage; and behind me 3 covered car ports; and then plenty of space in the middle for more cars!
And this is HOW you fit that many cars in a garage... lifts! Notice that the Ferrari is in the easiest to get out position!
Of course, if the FCA or Fchat is invited, then there will be cool stuff to look at in the street, too...
Even my wide angle lens was not enough to capture this T-shaped garage in its proper glory. Without motion, you'll have to look at it corner by corner... In the first corner, we had a beautiful Jag... but in full green glory, I had to spare the Ferraristi. So, I'll start with the back corner, occupied by this beauty of a Ferrari 330... on a lift no less...
The signature on my 360 means so much more when you see it on so many other masterpieces... the 330's designer...
Looking to the left, we have another working area... and, though a Jag, a true racecar, with engine on the bench...
Wow!! This is what I want my front entry to look like! Looks like what I'd imagine Enzo's house to look like. Wow!!
I do have a 3-car garage kinda like this... but I do not have 3 Ferraris in it... nor a lift making room for 4 cars... nor... well, its nothing like this at all!
