I love the pool floor, might consider it when I have to re-do my pool, but what happens if the next owner of the house has a Jag or Maseratti?
Yea i also own MVs and also a member of the MV Agusta forum, i saw that picture on there this week Nice.
They are individual concrete pavers set in sand, and sloped to a large area drain. They have settled slightly since installation although not enough to cause ponding. I have a friend with a fairly steep drive and I think that part way down they had a strip set in concrete to prevent slippage. Can't resist posting this photo looking down. - George Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's my 749R in the background. It's getting a few bits added - PC III w/ quick shifter, new clutch plates/basket/cover, CF air ducts, CF fender, CF rear hugger, CF tail, Termignoni race exhaust, BST CF wheels, new brake rotors, and a few other things. Here's a pic of the transformation in progress... Steve Image Unavailable, Please Login
I like the look of the pavers, you did a great job and it dosen't sound too difficult to install either. Great picture, thanks for the details. I am also from the bay area, Piedmont, what part do you live in? Doug
My fathers old 1950s Sunoco station. A little rustic but makes a fair garage. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow...good eye! Yes, it's a Takahashi TOA-150 on a Tak NJP mount with a custom made Monolith pier. We're actually building an observatory at our new house...a 16'6" Ash Dome, RC Optical Systems 24" Ritchey-Chretien scope on an RCOS equatorial fork mount. Should be one of the better amateur observatories in the US when it is done. Plus, we are building it at the darkest sky site in the continental US. Should be cool. Are you into astronomy? Edit: Just looked at your profile and saw that you are into a lot of the same stuff (astronomy, technology, Ferrari's) as me...
