Thanks, yea the floor is a concrete overlay that was then stained, clearcoated and polished. It gives it a much warmer/finished feel to the space. Plus concrete is easier to clean and will more easily hide any stains that may pop up.
It's amazing the finishes they put on concrete now. Really does look amazing. It looks like an industrial building, is it, or did they do a really good job creating that look?
Thanks guys, yea it is an industrial warehouse that i bought recently from the bank. Its approx 2800sf. When i bought it it was in pretty poor shape cosmetically, structurally was very solid. I sandblasted, painted, put in a new roof, lighting and the flooring. The signs are all original vintage gas station signs from the 20s-60s. Only things left is to add are a poker table and a bar area...
Awesome; I'd love to do the same some day. Just curious, did you do the actual work or contract it out; regardless, great job! and then host a FChat casino night!
Thx! yea I contracted each piece out so it was more just organizing the different trades - floor guys, electrician, roofer, etc.
Yes sir!! Throw in H20 and Bill's, with a sprinkle of Jim's, and I'd be happy to sweep the floors for work. One for each day of the week... But i seriously love this thread, y'all have something to be proud of.
A couple of my favorites from all over to keep the thread moving! I'm sure there is reposts in here also. Crazy, I have a folder with almost 1000 pics of garages and mine looks like crap......... Then I'd have to work six days a week! But seriously, there isn't a single garage here I wouldn't be proud of. It's just cool to see some people pick the same cars I would once I'm in the position too.
Looking through the past posts on this thread is simply nothing short of inspiring! There are plenty of brilliant ideas that have been well executed and those that have grown over time, are individual and reflect the character of the owner. I hope my garage/man cave/man barn or whatever you want to call it, will reach the mark in time of those I have seen here.
A collaboration with Michael Rhodig of Garage Mahals that we did recently. Micheal designed the space and we furnished custom cabinets. Michael is a great designer and has his own unique style, which I've called 'New Deco'. Image Unavailable, Please Login
