Ok, I'll take door number five, but looks like any door will work. Great cars and they look well taken care of, like my ex-wife.
It's a gloss finish oil paint. It was done with a spray gun. Time consuming to apply and stunk to high heaven and took about a month to dry. Good result when finished though and its been a few years now and it looks the same as the day it was finished, so wearing really well.
Still my favorite thread on f-chat right here...I like the T and A threads second best Go USA - 2-1 over Ghana oh ya
I just completed an extensive garage remodel on my home in Capistrano Beach, Ca. New floors, electric, lighting, paint/drywall, carpet, cabinets, and 4 post lift. I also had the solid redwood garage doors stripped of the old paint and refinished and clear coated. Some of the paint layers looked like the could have been from the 1960's when the house was built. For anyone in Southern California that is interested... the cabinets and floors were done by Steve Nieri at AAAdvantage Concrete. He did an outstanding job. Real professional guy that was recommended by another Fchat member. The painter that did the garage doors was equally impressive. Nick the painter in SoCal. It's just a two car space, but it has extra high doors and ceilings. Some pics.
