What happened to the posts from Garages and Gearheads? (HOU)
I believe based on our Event rules that because it was sponsored and at commercial location it isn't allowed unless a FCA event, Sponsor, or they work out marketing agreement with us. FerrariChat would get overrun with people just spamming us with commercial events although they don't participate otherwise.
Shawn is a friend and actually use to work for FerrariChat, I explained it to him. He works for the host and it is a commercial event with sponsors that aren't FerrariChat sponsors, so spam. Shawn also doesn't participate on FerrariChat otherwise lately. I talked to him about it, there are options that don't cost anything.
Do you have a list? I went looking after my post and there wasn't much of anything I could see for the exotic car fan. They have that one show occasionally in the Woodlands, would be a 90 min drive each way.
Not really, sorry. I just sort of find them on Facebook and via friends. It may be we're looking for different types of shows, too. I love Catalina Coffee on Sundays. But if you're looking for exotics, that's probably not the place to be. Personally, I'm not real into exotics, I prefer classics and unique stuff. Here's one group to look into: https://www.thecarculture.org/
Fca San Antonio has great drives and events every weekend. Does fca Houston hold/sponsor drives events meets? im finding a serious lack of f car community here in Houston. Perhaps it’s super secret here.
I used to live in SA and you are right, they are very active. Probably because of the hill country and great roads just a few miles away.
….unlike other car clubs, you do not have to own a Ferrari to be a member, you just need to be in enthusiast and brand ambassador! You should join, there are more events now than ever happening all over Texas, even in Houston! Steve
