Hey Martin I thought you were Ferrari only?
The guy also like 'race horses', and has also quite a bit (and very very good ones) so he likes to put a horse and driver on EVERY car he owns (also quite a bit as you can see) I don't like it either, but hey if he likes it, who am I, ...
Curious as to the type of construction you are using on your garage, is this in the USA? Unlike anything I have seen.
Yup, this in the good old US of A. New England to be exact. The garage was designed to match the house which was a very contemporary design 30 some odd years ago. The lower part which forms the foundation and the three walls is reinforced concrete. The lower window walls are all fairly coventional. The roof trusses are made up of pairs of 2x8s, then it is all planked with 2x6 tongue and groove and gets roofed with conventional shingle. Any more questions, just ask ... I'll try to post more photos as we progress. BTW, all of the construction that you see above the foundation has been done in the last six weeks by myself and my dad, yup just two of us! Jeff
Here are some pictures of my garage which I just recently finished. The U-haul boxes full of models are emptied. The cabinets are not yet arranged but at least there in place. A few more things to do like putting the flags up and maybe a few other details but I can rest. Take out the car for a drive instead of just outside for more garage work!!
