Guys what are some trees, plants, bushes, flowers that deer will not eat!!? Does anyone know of any? Also, what is a tree that has color almost all year besides a plum or red maple? My parents have been going crazy trying to draw up a design for our back yard gardens. I am hoping some of the f-chat garden experts can make me look good.

I'll check with my sister. The house she just sold was previously owned by a decorator who actually grew test gardens for that reason. Big wooded lot in Wisconsin with lots of deer.

Eric we have the same problem. Keep your current garden, but try either urinating on the perimeter or put human hair around it. Worked for us.

It's not only deer, it's rabbits too.

There are a number of sprays, both over the counter and home brews you can come up with that do help a lot.

Ulitimate defense is a fence.... or a 30-06

I believe this one would kill two birds with one stone.

Def has plenty of color, and the deer ain't gonna eat it, that's for sure.

Only drawback is they are somewhat hard to water.

Hmmmmm - come to think of it, I never saw any deer in my neighborhood.

    ---

dm_n_stuff - ya know, that's the same fire that eventually burned through Bambi's neighborhood.
