    Has anyone had a problem with the gas cover not releasing when using the inside switch? I replaced the switch and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

    The solenoid is probably bad that actually pops open. Check fuses first if you dont hear the poping noise when you pull the switch.


    I had to replace mine recently, its about $230 or so.

    Try to work the plunger (on the door actuator) back and forth a few times and make sure it's not simply stuck or slightly corroded. A wee bit of WD40 could be shot in there to check. In my 348, just a bit of working the plunger back and forth loosened it up just fine, and now now problems.

    Your emergency cable still works, right? If so, at least you know the door itself isn't somehow jammed.
