was over at the hobby store yesterday with my boys and ran across a F360 RC gas car, 4 wheel drive about 18" long. $600! seems like it would be fun for a bit, but not sure if it's worth $600. didn't know there was gas powered rc F-cars. any ideas on if there are other models? didn't ask at the store, too busy with the boys.

It does look pretty cool. I can see spending a lot of money on that thing......; )

I had gas R/C cars for years and Kyosho makes a good product.

What gets expensive is replacing the front ends when you hit a curb at 40 mph. Those things are best on a track but it's just too irresistable to run it in front of your driveway so you end up banging it up alot. Looks like it's only a 2wd which is nice since you wont wreck the front and ruin a diff and it's got a hell of a nice (big) front bumper. Already built and painted too.

The inferno is a tried and true design.

That thing would be a heck of a good time.

+1000, as well as to the expense part! I spent countless thousands on my RC infection a long time back and with me it didn't end w.the tarmac. It pains me to think about how much I blew on those things :( They were fun - particularly trolling a live shiner for bass behind a gas boat: "FISH ON!!! F@CK THE BOAT WENT UNDER!!"

Thing is unless you really get into the hobby you'll spend 6 bills on it, use it for a couple months, and wind up giving it away after 4 years of trying to convince yourself you (or the boys) will pull it off the shelf and to Climb's point, fix whatever you broke on it!

Jesus, the meaning of your post hit me while fishing in my kayak. You lost an r/c boat to a fish??

    Wow.

Woulda been cool if you'd pulled the bass to shore. A video would prove the "fish story"
