    I need a new 348 Gas Tank Solenoid - part 60868600 (if opens and locks the gas tank)

    Does anyone know any other car part or cross reference that can be used instead of the $500 Ferrari one?

    Steve,

    A number of F-Chatters have been able to get the old one cleaned/functioning again. Try a search of gas door or fuel door & see what pops up. Mine was a little sticky & manually pressing/actuating numerous times in a row over 30 minutes seems to have solved my issue. Now it works well and it has been 5 months....
