You'd need to fire up the DeLorean and go back to around 2005 to achieve that Tony.

That $4.199/gal is cheap! Around here, it's hovering between $5.19-$5.39/gal for name brand premium gas, self serve!

Just right of the price you can see 1/2 of what it says: All fuels contain up to 15% (or maybe 10%) ethanol.

Agreed, it contains ethanol, I wrongly assumed Colorado did not have Ethanol.

In that case, I prefer to spend $10 x gallon for 114 octane, Sunoco Leaded, considering the huge ( :) ) amount of fuel we use,
and the lessening of repairs / damages due to ethanol. Not to mention the HUGE difference in fuel quality and performance.
Oh, and the aroma is much better out the exhaust

    Regards, Alberto

Better not use the leaded fuel if you retained catalytic converters.

I am guilty of not paying attention to that. I use the 'new post' feature. I didn't put 2 and 2 together with the pic of the Dino at the pump. If the valve seats were never done on older cars, running unleaded fuel destroys the valve seats fairly quickly.

Not to mention fuel lines, this is 3 month old SAE R9 fuel hose which is supposed to be E15+ rated. Later identified as counterfeit goods.

Not relevant to the “Fuel” aspect of this conversation, but VERY RELEVANT....

I bought a Dino in Denver. I still own it. Years ago, before threads like this helped all.

I am obviously dumb. That Dino was set to run at an altitude we don’t have in Houston, Tx.

ANY Dino, or Carb’ed Ferrari, that is being moved from substantial elevations will need to be adjusted.

I am sure this probably applies for any carbed vehicle, but probably isn’t a top of mine thing.....
