Is there a gasket on the tail lights where they sit against the body? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've never seen one. There is, however, the gasket that slips over the bottom rim of the plastic light housing that keeps the lens and the lens reflector together.
Check out OMG Jon's post #4 on his 06450 restoration thread. Shows the correct foam gasket. I had a tough time trying to fit that foam without using glue and used the same u-channel rubber as used on the aluminum dash. Does the same job but much easier to install though not original.
Things to consider; - is it really original? - if yes, is it specific to later Dino's and wouldn't be found on L or M-series Dino's?
I have new gaskets that hold the lens together. When I took the lights off there were some what looked like homemade gaskets on the lights that held them away from the paint, but they show around the edges and aren't well made.
