Finally got the film developed and some good pics resulted. This first group includes the photos I took at Perimeter Mall before we headed south, as well as the Ferrari/Maserati lineup once we got there, and some shots of the F2001.

I'll post some more later this evening if the approaching thunderstorms hold off long enough.....

Italian cars notwithstanding, the stars of the show were the 500hp cars from Detroit, the Ford GT and Corvette Z06, parked side-by-side and both impressive. In comparison the Pontiac GTO parked alongside was ignored. But my favorite Ford there was 90 years old!

More pics! In the first one, Stephane was moving the TR and I was walking behind him. When he stopped, so did I, and I took a picture! The cockpit is of the Ford GT. I took the photo of the Mitsu Evo because it had something I had only seen before on airplane wings: vortex generators! And somewhere under the plumbing and wiring in the back of the Kudzu is a 3-rotor Mazda engine.

Great photographs. Looks like a good turnout of moving machinery.

    Hey Jim,
Thanks for posting a picture of the gtmotorsports SAE racer. We worked hard on the new car and launched it this past Thursday. The new car is going to be amazing. Also, the guys that own the Evo and the Fiat Spyder (i) are members of the club; great guys. I will post the pictures of the new car next time I go to the shop.

No pictures of the jet car? I have a cell phone video but I have never found a player on the internet to play it. If someone knows how to play the dang thing, I will e-mail it to you.

No, I didn't shoot the pulse-jet car, in part because there were usually too many people around it, and in part because it was such a minimalist vehicle it wouldn't have photographed very well anyway. Now a videoclip, especially with sound, would be something to see and hear.

I never thought I'd ever see a car that would remind me of a V1 buzz bomb.....

Now for the last batch (cheers!) which includes: a C5 Corvette that looks like a '54, an ersatz "Rambling Wreck", some interesting motorcycles including a new Triumph, an old MotoGuzzi, and the positively weird Honda Rune, which has a bigger engine than my Civic(!), and a Ford GT40 replica.
