Hey everyone, Not sure if this is the right forum for this... I will be heading to Mecum Kissimmee in January for a couple of days so I was looking through catalogue. There are quite a few interesting Ferrari's including an F40 and a very rare Argento Nurburgring Enzo. But there is also this gated 360 spider. Personally not a fan of after market wheels and tinted tail lights but that is easily rectified. Had I not just bought one a couple of months ago I would definitely be watching this one. Offered at no reserve and if it goes for anything close to their estimate it would be the deal of the year. If you have been looking for one maybe something to keep your eye on. https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0123-539193/2001-ferrari-360-spider/
Also after market bumpers, side skirts and carbon pieces…makes it even less desirable. I wonder if Meccum provides vin numbers? Didn’t see any in the pictures. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Yeah condition looks okay. Is it a euro? It has the fourth switch on the driver side but I can’t quite tell if it’s aftermarket in the photos. I love the rims and lights. Drive the wheels off it.
Couple of other things. 1. Is this a conversion or oem? 2. What's the mileage? 3. No top down pix so I can assume the top is malfunctioning. (Sweet!) 4. Red interior looks garish. $60-80k would be a deal for the seller if this is a high mileage converted car with a bad capote. "The cheapest Ferrari is often going to be the most expensive Ferrari."
Mecum typically doesn't list mileage once they are exempt, however there is a picture of the odometer showing just under 25,000 miles. If the CarFax is clean this would be steal under $100k...but I am going to predict it goes for more.
Run A Carfax As I Saw A Viper And A Corvette Go Through The Block And They Did Not Announce It...Thank God I Did A Carfax...
Sold for $70k and I thought what a bargain. Then I noticed the updated listed shows NY salvage title. So there you go.
