If you are tracking numbers, I got a 2001 rosa red/blk gated with 28000km which is 17K miles for 53K. It needs work and is not a cream puff, but they are out there in the palm springs area. here seeing a Ferrari, Maserati, Bentley or Rolls is not a big deal--

I am going to guess that car is the "other" kind of manual 6 speed. You know, the manually-actuated-"shifting computer"-executed variety. There are a lot of pics on their website but extreme care was used to make sure that no one could tell if it has paddles or a stick. Funny thing though, that in all of their critical work they managed to leave in the picture that shows a check engine warning illuminated!

Yep, CEL and the oil pressure indicates that the engine is running. Funny, the water temp is pretty high but the oil temp is pegged on the bottom. Bad sending unit?

I thought they might have ran it for a while then turned on the key to get a picture but it wasn't started. Who knows, maybe they snapped the pic too fast before the light shut down but not showing the important details of an exotic car means they are outside of their element anyway and do not understand the market....or....they are shysters!!!!

...or they took the picture at the exact second the car was stalled? :)

Should have caught that. BUT that only makes the oil pressure more strange.

immediately before starting the car, sometimes the oil pressure is like that.
my bet is the engine's not running and its a stick

While I was looking for a 360 I came across an ad, I think it was auto trader. It was a rosa red/tan 6 spd gated for 108K. I called the number 415-994-9997 and he called me back. we talked and he was talking about 70K which was out of my price range. he was calling from 408-498-1719. Sounds like he paid over 100K a while back and did not want to loose that much money. we have all been there. Maybe someone can make a deal with him. He is in the san jose ca area.---

Oh I like this one! But is the price realistic for the mileage? Maybe its a combo of yes it has higher miles but its a 6 speed.

I think the price is right there in the realm of what-one-could-reasonably-expect-to-pay-to drive-a-modern-Ferrari. Say it goes for 60...there really aren't a lot of non-salvage cars any cheaper. I am assuming that the car needs nothing (big assumption) and is deep discounted because of the miles, but could be quite the deal!

this got me thinking about the 6MT coupe market in the US again, and I re-did some guestimath. Seems to me like there should be somewhere between 400-600 manual modenas in the US now, and in 5 years that drops by roughly 80 cars, and another 60 in the following 5 years... now to me - the 6mt modena is pretty special for my own reasons that mirror some trends in other (Porsche) markets... anyway, makes me feel pretty good about holding on to the car that i enjoy so much for the long term - even if its forecast is not deemed collectible by many folks.

    Hi,

I was reading through this post and figured I'd chime in about the white 6 speed that was up in Canada. I ended up getting the car last summer and went through a few dealer related issues (See Below) but I think I fared pretty well in the end. I paid 65K (CDN) for it and immediately did a major service. When I picked up the car it just so happened to be raining and the wipers didn't work properly... 3 months later and after a $10000 bill and 2 different shops trying to track down the issue, it turned out to be the instrument cluster. The dealer that sold me the car sold it certified and ended up footing the bill for the cluster (Lucky for the me the laws here state the wipers are a safety issue). I've driven the 6 speed and F1 cars and will never buy an F1 (Unless its a CS). Does anyone know where I can find production data for the 6 speed and colour? Everyone I bring it to says it could be one of the rarest 360's due to this combo. Interior is Dark blue carpets and Grey Leather (looks great).

I haven't seen production data that granular. I think that just over 1% of general production was white?

I had both ( 360 Modena - manual and F430F1 Spider) ; I agreed gated was more fun regardless 430F1 is a lot faster especially in the track.
