That's a phony/scam ad. I know the owner of that particular 360 and he bought it from a dealer over a year ago. It didn't come with the roof bag (which snaps in behind the seats) as you can see it's missing in the pics. I was able to find him a used bag but try finding sunroof "parts" when there are hardly any sunroofs!
That's certainly interesting. If it's a scam I wonder what they are trying to gain? Maybe a deposit that they can snag and be off with? As far as the sunroof bag, I did see one for sale on eBay some time ago, although I can't remember what price it was being sold for. Perhaps that was the leather bag you found. But the car looks pretty darn nice in any event!
Interesting ..... I looked up the cell number in the ad and it belongs to the dealer. The ad says the car is a private sale in California but the dealer is in Canada. I've seen this before, with cars that I sold or bought, showing up later as a new ad with the same pics. In some cases they are trying to get a deposit (or as much as possible wired to them) but why use the dealer's phone number? I went to their web site and it lists the car as sold.
I've dealt with this dealer last year. Turned me off since they were reluctant to work with me to get a PPI at the Ferrari dealer. They are located in Edmonton.
Kevin, any updates to the chart? I was at a local car show this weekend. Many people I talked with were buzzing about the prices of 3-pedal cars going up. As it's happening in the US, other continents will folllw. Seeing rapid price increase in Germany now too. Very nice.
I am surfacing here after a very busy last few months. I am looking at what I have found over the last quarter and it's pretty slim. Before I turn over a few more rocks I am asking if any of you followers have other car ads I missed. These are the new cars I have... I am still poking around and trying to see whats on the market to chart but I came across this one today. 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena For Sale $98,888 - 1639585 Looks legit and the license plate web address checks out back to the owner. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I would say that's a bargin if PPI checks out OK. All it needs is front challenge grills and perhaps exhaust updates.
Front Challenge drills are a pain in the butt if you ask me! You cant get the leaves and ciggy butts out of duct because the holes are too small.
Looking at the rear view pic it appears the can is much narrower than stock, so could be Challenge or 430 already installed.
I'm not seeing the yellow car listed above from McLaren Philly. I think it's mid to low 80k now. *** edit. No reserve with a starting ask of 74.9k. Zero bids so far.
I have these grilles on and so far no garbage has wandered in behind them. The OEM grilles let in stuff because the openings are bigger? That would be my logical conclusion FWIW =)
Mine is the red/tan for sale in GA for $110k. What does the number at the end of each item in your list mean? Mine has a 5 next to it?
Wow, I had it listed from their original ad of 99K 1999 Ferrari 360 2D Coupe | X0116587 "June Special" according to the ad of $80,990! I would say they are motivated to sell. Car looks good from where I am sitting but DD is critical.

Not a lot of options on the car, and i dont like those wheels, but it does make you wonder what else is wrong with it. Or else maybe the prices for manuals really are not anywhere near what people claim. I'm inclined to think more of the former than the latter.
I think it might be the latter, but who knows... This one (although certainly not perfect), just sold for 51.5k https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferrari-discussion-not-model-specific/555360-1999-360-modena-coupe-gated-shifter-%2451k.html#post145454514
Wow, I first saw that car listed in Feb of 2015 for 79K at Exotic Sportscars of Pompano Beach FL. It had 4 K fewer miles back then. Good luck to the new F-Chat owner!
True, but "not perfect" is an understatement- rebuilt title, non-original interior, repaint/color change, etc., all bode poorly for the sale price, and think how much less it would have brought had it been an F1 gearbox. While it's uncertain exactly how big the 3-pedal premium is, it's clearly significant, even on 360s. This car is an outlier.
