Your owner's manual specifies the proper tension for each belt using a Gates tensioner. The one I bought from NAPA uses the same specifications. This tool is only for the V-belts, not the cam belts.

To my knowledge Ferrari never established a specification using that tool on timing belts. I do not believe it is even an appropriate tool for timing belts. It was meant for accessory drive belts.

The only Ferrari belts with Gates 150 specs are the accessory belts. Like Rifledriver, I've never seen a cam drive belt tension spec. Ferrari depends on the tensioner springs to correctly set the belt tension. IMHO, this is reasonable, I've been doing it this way for years.

The krikit tooll should be able to measure cam belt tension, IF the tension is within it's range, however, w/o a spec, it isn't very useful...

(based on a 328, but should be close)

Jack up the car. Take off the passenger rear wheel. The inner fenderwell is held in by a series of bolts (10mm and 13mm I think). Once it's out, you'll see the belts.
