Gathering (informal) to welcome Vik's new G

Ok folks, you've heard the news and now it's time to welcome Vik's Pearl Yellow Gallardo to its new home (well my home at first...but read on).

The G is scheduled to arrive this coming Sunday at my home here in Ho Ho Kus NJ (the car transport can't deliver in NYC hence delivery here) and I welcome those of you who want to come down, see my new home, Vik's new toy and enjoy a brief run once she arrives.

The ETA is fluid at this point and hence so is this gathering. We're shooting for Sunday afternoon but that may not be the case based on traffic, weather, etc. on it's journey to the East Coast. I will update this thread as the time draws near, but I ask those of you who plan to attend to PLEASE RSVP here.

As a good host I will have some fine Vino (not too much obviously for the drivers), cheese, dip, etc. and want to have an idea of numbers to prepare.

That's about it for now and I look forward to seeing those of you that can make it on Sunday (hopefully the G will make it on time). The weather is forecasted to be sunny and in the high 40's.

LR3 is the prefered form of transit out here in the burbs bro. You'll be pimpin' and can certainly ride shotgun with anyone I'm sure.

This is the season for a Horse drawn carriage rides through central park....but then Vik is getting a Bull for riding the Bull on wall street. Hmmmmm. Coicidence? I don't think so

Keeping an eye on the G's arrival time and the weather at this point. I'll keep you posted and shoot you directions once we iron out a time.

Id love to make a run anywhere this time of year, but when I looked at weather this morning, called for rain I believe Sunday - Tuesday.

I spoke with Vik this evening and he's planning to reach out to the transport folks tomorrow for an ETA. We'll also keep an eye on the weather but right now that's not looking to be an issue.

I'll reach out to ya'll tomorrow PM with more definitive plans. For those of your concerned out NYE...we're not going to be getting together until mid afternoon at the earliest so hope you'll be up and about by then.

Going to be partying and staying over at a Hilton Hotel with brunch Sunday Morning. Dunno what time we'll be getting out. I know in the afternoon sometime my wife and I have to go up north jersey about 15 mins from Ho Ho Kus.
