Gauge Surround in MQV : How to remove it?

The speedo & rev counter dials pull off and there are 4 screws behind each, unscrew the left set and pull it out, then the other dials will simply pull out.

I have loads of pics of this I will hunt them out and post them shortly.

 

remove Speedo.
remove RPM.

(pry off face, loosen screws.)

remove screws for Oil, water, amp ...etc. assembly.

pull out,,

Now,you maybe able to reach behind the oil gage,, to get to the lamp.

Pull off the black trim around the rev counter.

Remove the four screws that are ringed.

And the panel the gauge you want is simply slotted into where I have arrowed in yellow, and voila it all comes out.

Not sure what country you are in but you should get the idea from both sets of pics.

 

I dont want to hijack this thread but, when all the guages are removed is it simple to get the mileage counter working again?, only just stopped working but the speedo works

 

It might be something in the electronics. There is a plug in connector so it could be a dirty connection, also there is a mileage sensor in the front bonnet compartment in the top corner, it could be down to that. I do have a spare one of those when I removed it from my Mondy Qv, but I've already sold the odometer dash part.

 

Photos speak louder than words....tks ur help.My CAB started out as a EURO.LHD Spec.& is verified as the last Leaded Gas Ferrari built.It could not be Reg. in Europe so an enterprising dealer in USA purchased it and used false papers.The FEDS caught up with them and siezed the car.It was auctioned but could not be REG in US. .I live on SUSHINE COAST Queensland
AUSTRALIA and with no ban on the car I bought it,however I had to have it converted to
RHD.Needless tosay Ferrari were not very co.operative,however I wound up with a new
Ferrari at half the price of regular dealer.
Reason for low KM is I had collection of 17 cars Lambo LP400,Fer.,Maser.Sebring,E Type V12
Roadster,57 Porsche 356 Speedster,58 Porsche 356 Coupe,63Split WimdowCorvette Fuelie,
59 Corvette Roadster DUNTOV CAM Fuelie,1928 Front Wheel Drive ALVIS LeMANS etc.etc.
and you cant drive them on regular basis.I have disposed of most except FER.2 Porshes
1946 Supercharged TC MG and my 1943 WW2 FORD JEEP.
At age 88 I fortunately can still enjoy driving them.
Once again MANY TKS....will get one of my sons to get the ODO out.My email is [email protected]
